Jerry Garcia Etching

Bees

A favorite subject, the bee suggests the ideas of diligence and devotion, creative activity and the sweetness of abundance. Garcia had read “The Life of the Bee” by Maurice Maeterlinck. A quote from this book reads, “As they go from flower to flower collecting more honey than they themselves and their offspring need, let us go from reality to reality seeking food for the incomprehensible flame.” Less than sixty “Bees” were signed of the edition of 200. We are offering signed and unsigned prints. These are quite rare. Printed on Arches cream paper. A few on buff or gray. Guaranteed authentic. Unsigned prints bear Weir Gallery Graphics chop and Certificate of Authenticity. Framing available.
